little campers

Little campers always make camping more fun. I think they help us remember how to play. Thanks girls for a job well done.

Not the most flattering shot of me

praying

One of several favorite activities I did with Natale was to pray for our school day. We combined our prayers with applying essential oils that would help with concentration and focus. Natale loved slathering my feet with oil.

Now that the season of ministry to Nalale has finished I have been praying about what Abba has planned for this new season.

While driving home from the date farm I heard an program about a ministry called Safe Families. A foster care-type ministry through the church rather than through the government. Hummm....I emailed the initial contact information.

Please pray with me as to if this might be the new path for my hiking this earth adventure.

calendar garden

While in Indiana we took a quick spin around the calendar garden. The circular walkway has the date of each day of the year stamped on the brick. The plants are planted to show their best side during the date they are planted near.

home away

Before we went to Michigan Jay hauled our camping trailer to the date farm in anticipation of harvesting at the end of August or beginning of September.

But the dates are ripening early this year.

We have spent the past two weekends at the farm and will continue to call it our second home for the next few months.

I joined Jay on some early morning rides in the basket to pick before the heat of the day, then spent time sorting and cleaning back down on solid ground.

360

While Mama Donna and I sat on the end of her dock and visited one afternoon Jay played with the 360 photo program on his phone.  The result....this funky snow globe-feel shot with a few missing appendages.

six

Jay and I celebrated our 6 years together when we attended Josiah for President theater production in Shipshewana during our vacation. It was a fun show but I think we may have been the youngsters in the crowd.
