Lily and I have been preparing all week for today...day one of our three day backpacking adventure through Queen Valley. All we are waiting for now is for our fellow adventurers (Jay and Stephanie) to get out of bed and load our packs and then we are off.

My focus this week is packing for a three day backpacking adventure this weekend while Stephanie is visiting. While I'm making lists and piles of all the things we'll need to take Lily found a job for herself.

Using the timer on the camera to take a self portrait requires speed and planning.
Taking the same photo with an animal multiplies the challenge.
