The following are a few of my favorites from our first stop at the Watchtower....
One of the things that Grace and I noted was the quiet "awe" of the canyon. Even when we were in places were there was a large group of people there was a hush as individuals marveled at the grander.
I found viewing the canyon played tricks with my depth perception. As we stood on the rim and looked over the vast expanse it felt as if I could reach out and almost touch the rim on the opposite side.
We had beautiful weather, sunny with a little breeze. There were still puddles of snow in the shady places.
We marveled at the color palate. I imagine God had a good day painting the day he made the canyon.
We were blessed to find scripture displayed in several places. What an appropriate way to acknowledge the artist.
Inside the tower there was a "black mirror" that reflected the true colors of the canyon. Grace shot this picture of me looking into the mirror.
