birthday boy

Today is Jay's birthday.

We are having our friend's Ron and Lura over for dinner. I'm making Groundnut stew (in honor of Jay's African birthplace) and coconut cake. After dinner we are headed across town to celebrate Rosh Chodesh. Jay was excited to discover that this year his birthday on the Greek calendar fell on Nissan One, the Jewish New Year (5771).
