headed to hopi

A week ago Wednesday we packed up and headed, caravan style, north to the Hopi reservation for our first Hopi Women's conference. Several ministries joined together including the Soaring Eagles, the ministry that Jay and I have been working alongside.

The shadow of the truck and camper as we neared the end of the five hour drive.

The sun was setting as we entered the Hopi Nation. I shot the sunset out the window of the moving vehicle.

Years of intercession for the Hopi people was an important part of laying the groundwork for what happened during the conference. Prayers of individuals and ministries worldwide lifting up this specific strategic time broke through strongholds and ushered in freedom for these women unlike anything they had ever experienced.

Ron and Lura, the leaders of Soaring Eagles Ministry, anoint and pray over the doors and windows of the building where the conference was held.

No accident but unintentional, the communion juice served on Friday morning, as we gathered to start the day of ministry, rested on a makeshift table of a map of the United States showing the locations of the Native American Reservations.

Beverly and Darrell walk and intercede on the Hopi land.
