 December 24th we had six visitors.
Four humans and two dogs.

all joined us for the day. We had fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies, played King's Corner and 99, listened to stories about David's new girlfriend, and chatted on Skype with Stephanie's friend in England.

My dad used to get so frustrated when he came home from the store, unpacked the grocery bags, and discovered that once again the pop he had so diligently searched for had become "diet" pop during the ride home. 

I thought about him yesterday after I rinsed the coloring out of my hair and reread the box. When I was at the store it said Dark Blonde but now that the color was attached to my head it read Terracotta Blonde AKA Super Woman Red.

The highlight of our Mexico trip was rising with the sun and recording the colors of the morning reflecting on the water and awaking in the sky...

We spent our holiday weekend at the date farm. Along with some work around the farm we walked and prayed and anointed the entire 80 acres.
