Yesterday I asked my students if they knew the significances of the day (I was thinking primary elections). Several of them responded. They kept saying a word. Bumpkik. "Are you speaking English?" I finally asked.Turns out they were saying "pancake" but they can't pronounce "p" any better than I can pronounce their kh sound.
Wish I could have some too!
